EXPERIENCE:
Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Vince joined Woods Fuller law firm in 2004, creating a business-centric practice consisting of many small and medium sized businesses and focusing on their needs. He represents a variety of clients, including dentists, doctors and other professionals, construction companies, developers, banks, farmers, and entrepreneurs. His practice areas of expertise include:
Professional Practice - Assisting many dentists, doctors, and other professionals in practice and asset purchases, regulatory compliance, employment law, and a myriad of other issues associated with professional practices.
Real Estate - Handling real estate transactions and development, mineral rights, and leases. He has litigated lawsuits to enforce purchase agreements, commence foreclosures, landlord rights, and handle disputes between owners.
Corporate/LLC - Advising a variety of business entities, including non-profit organizations and privately held companies through formation, maintenance, succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions, as well as guiding clients through general business needs such as contracts, and collections law. He currently serves as a chair of the firm's Business and Corporate Transactions practice group.
Creditor Rights - Representing banks, agricultural companies, and property owners in matters including collection actions, foreclosures, and other creditor issues.
Community service is also important to Vince. Throughout his career he has volunteered on or for the boards of numerous local non-profits. Vince is currently the president of the Board of Directors for the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House in Sioux Falls. In addition, he served six years on the board of the Sioux Falls Youth Hockey Association, where he remains active and coaches extensively.
Outside of his volunteer and work commitments, Vince enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, athletics, and the outdoors.
Community Involvement
What's Your Why?
"I'm passionate about being involved in the community, particularly through coaching youth sports. It's not just about the games; it's about preparing the kids for life. Sports teach them to handle adversity, work hard, and grow.”
What Does a Firm Legacy of Service Mean to You?
"A firm legacy of service speaks to the leadership that many of our attorneys have shown in our community and the work they continue to do with lots of nonprofits and volunteer organizations.”
Why Are You Passionate About Being Involved in the Community?
"The values and principles that drive my community service are just the desire to leave things better than the way I found them and to make this community a better place. It's important for me to give back and give people the opportunities that I had."
