Gabrielle Kauk is from Sioux Falls, SD, and joined Woods Fuller in 2024. She has a general business and trust & estates practice.
Gabrielle received her bachelor’s degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, AZ. She then returned to South Dakota and earned her juris doctorate from the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, graduating summa cum laude and with Sterling Honors. She also received the Dean’s Leadership Award, which is awarded for exemplifying the law school’s ideal of excellence. While in law school, Gabrielle served as a graduate assistant and as the Editor in Chief of Volume 68 of the South Dakota Law Review. Gabrielle’s student note, “A or Z? An Analysis of Thom v. Barnett” was published in Volume 67 of the Law Review. As a student, Gabrielle co-authored three additional pieces that were published in the South Dakota Law Review.
Prior to joining Woods Fuller, Gabrielle clerked for Justice Mark E. Salter of the South Dakota Supreme Court.
In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Trevor, and their rescue puppy, Lua.
