EXPERIENCE:
Ryan is a Brookings native who practices in estate planning and trust law and intellectual property. He received his industrial engineering degree from Iowa State University and worked in Des Moines as a process improvement and quality control engineer for 6 years. He attended University of Kansas to get his law degree with a focus on intellectual property.
Ryan enjoys both estate planning and intellectual property because it allows him to help protect his clients’ assets, goals, and ideas. He enjoys collaborating with his clients and their advisors to ensure all the pieces of their planning works together.
Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked for boutique law firms practicing intellectual property and estate planning. In his free time, Ryan enjoys golfing, reading, and amateur woodworking. He is often back in Brookings to visit his family and to attend sporting events.
