EXPERIENCE:
Jordan Feist primarily focuses on creditor and bankruptcy litigation, as well as business litigation. He represents banks, cooperative associations, businesses, governmental entities, and other secured and unsecured creditors in lending and payment disputes, foreclosure actions, bankruptcies, and other insolvency proceedings. Jordan also represents contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in payment disputes, including mechanic’s lien and public improvement lien proceedings, as well as bond claim matters.
Jordan has experience representing secured and unsecured creditors in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases. He also has experience representing businesses and individuals in claims litigation, cash collateral disputes, contested plan confirmation proceedings, and adversary proceedings, including fraudulent transfer and preference cases.
Prior to law school, he earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of South Dakota. Jordan earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Penn State Law Review. His student comment was published in Volume 118 of the Penn State Law Review. While at Penn State Law, Jordan was selected for membership in the Woolsack Honor Society and awarded the Miller Public Interest Advocate Award.
