Woods Fuller Associate Receives High Honor

Woods Fuller is proud to announce our associate, Seth Lopour, has been given the 2023 Collegiality Award by the South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association at its annual member meeting in Deadwood on November 2, 2023.

The SDDLA Collegiality Award is given annually to recognize one of its members for uncompromising client advocacy while unfailingly demonstrating utmost respect for the justice system, judges, opposing counsel, and other parties.  Seth was nominated by another SDDLA member who stated: “Seth is not only an excellent lawyer but always demonstrates the utmost respect to judges, clients, and other attorneys, in my experience.  Woods Fuller is lucky to have him, and I think he deserves this award for his collegiality as an attorney.”

Originally from Fort Pierre, SD, Seth joined the firm in 2018. He practices primarily in general civil litigation and has experience in cannabis law, family law, trial law, government liability, and more.

The SDDLA was established in 1994 to bring together lawyers of high character and professional qualifications, who were engaged in the practice of law within the State of South Dakota, and who devoted a substantial portion of their practice to the defense of civil actions.
