Where did you grow up?

On a farm south of Tripp in southeastern South Dakota

Describe yourself in 30 words.

Having grown up on a farm, hard work comes naturally. My passion is for serving others whether it be clients, community, family, or church.

What motivated you to focus on business law?

My practice areas include contract law for a wide variety of client needs, buying and selling businesses, real estate development, and construction contract law. By practicing in these areas, I am able to help clients be successful. Their success means they are able to employ members of the community, support our community by giving back, and support their families for generations to come.

What do you like most about your work?

Long-term client relationships that evolve into colleagues and friends.

Tell us something not many people know about you.

I plant a flower garden and about 25 pots of flowers every summer. The outdoor farm life still influences my interests.
