Where did you grow up?
Sioux Center, Iowa
Describe yourself in 30 words.
Mother, wife, team-player, insatiably curious, bilingual extroverted introvert. Meeting new people and hearing their stories energizes me. I find other cultures fascinating. I enjoy puzzles and problem-solving.
What motivated you to specialize in Litigation?
Immigration and Estate Planning typically involves helping motivated people reach their goals. I enjoy getting to know my clients, finding creative solutions, and usually reaching a positive result. I practiced in a variety of areas before I found the best fit for me. The combination of Immigration and Estate Planning is very fulfilling and always interesting.
What do you like most about your work?
Celebrating successes with my clients.
Tell us something not many people know about you.
I don’t live on a farm anymore, but I am a farm-girl at heart. If we drive past cattle, I always “check cattle” and pen cleanliness from the car.
