Woods Fuller Shareholder Elected to Premier Professional Organization

Woods Fuller is proud to announce Jordan Veurink, shareholder, was recently elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) at its annual meeting in early March.

Veurink becomes a member of the premier professional organization for trust and estate lawyers in the U.S. and worldwide.

ACTEC is comprised of approximately 2,400 lawyers and law professors, all peer selected, practicing mainly in the trust and estate area.

“I am honored to be elected to this prestigious organization. It’s humbling to be recognized by a group of my peers and I look forward to working with and learning from them,” said Veurink.

“We are so proud of Jordan being elected to such a prestigious organization.  Woods Fuller’s clients will benefit from Jordan’s knowledge and expertise, along with the network of other trust and estate professionals associated with ACTEC,” said Lisa Maguire, shareholder and chair of the Estate Planning practice group at the firm.

Lawyers and law professors are elected to be Fellows based on their outstanding reputation, exceptional skill, and substantial contributions to the field by lecturing, writing, teaching, and participating in bar leadership or legislative activities. It is their aim to improve and reform probate, trust and tax laws, procedures, and professional responsibility.
